One modular operations layer, shared identity, shared activity logs, shared data — without the enterprise complexity that breaks small organizations or the brittle one-off tools that don't scale.

Not a separate module — a property of the whole platform. Role-based access, activity logs on every record change, strong encryption at rest, configurable retention windows, two-step sign-in on admin. Designed to support FERPA / HIPAA / CACFP workflows.
Standalone service line — Enterprise networking, two-step sign-in / identity, remote device management, backups, office-hours support, scheduled onsite. Not sold inside rootedOS subscription; quoted per-site.
When the work is non-standard — a multi-site rollout, a state-specific licensing workflow, a regulator-specific reporting format — we scope it as a fixed-bid engagement on top of the platform.
The modules above aren't separate apps loosely tied together by sign-in. They're one platform — one shared relational data layer, one identity service, one activity log, one assistant. Adding a module means turning on a feature, not buying another vendor.

Single identity across every module. Role-based access (director / pastor / staff / parent / auditor) — not a single "admin" toggle. Auditable on every privilege change.
Append-only activity log on every database change, by user, with timestamp. Visible to admins. Immutable. The first thing an inspector or an auditor asks for is the first thing we built.
Database lives on US-east infrastructure. Protected member-care and child records are excluded from cross-organization AI training. Workflow assistance runs scoped to your account only.
Every export is CSV / JSON / PDF — open formats, documented schemas. We commit in writing to making it easy to leave. The point isn't that you won't; it's that you don't have to be afraid to.
